Exciting McDonald’s plans mean all day breakfast could be just around the corner

We're lovin' it...

Fan of McDonald’s breakfasts? Good news could be on the way.

It’s a terrible feeling when you make a morning trip to McDonald’s with an Egg McMuffin on your mind, only to find out you’re a minute or two late.

But thankfully, things may be about to change.

Over the pond, American McDonald’s restaurants are making breakfast items such as the McMuffin available all day as of next month.

This follows a successful trial in restaurants in Australia, and will be brought into effect for all American restaurants from October 6.

McDonald’s USA President Mike Andres is optimistic that such a plan could boost the chain’s dropping sales.

“This is the consumers’ idea. This is what they want us to do,” Andres is quoted as saying in The Wall Street Journal.

“That’s why I think this could be the catalyst for our turnaround.”

If this works out in America, it doesn’t seem so far-fetched that an all day Mc Donald’s breakfast menu will be arriving in Britain in the near future.
