FBI release previously-unseen photos of Epstein’s mansion

The pictures have been submitted into evidence as part of the trial of Ghislaine Maxwell

Prosecutors have revealed previously unseen photos of the inside of Jeffrey Epstein’s mansion.

Dozens of photos from an FBI raid of the Palm Beach property in 2005 have been made public, including shots of the sex offender’s bedroom, bathroom and kitchen.

Some of the photos showed drawings of naked women hanging on the walls, with one drawing appearing to be of Ghislaine Maxwell.

The images have been submitted into evidence in Maxwell’s ongoing sex-trafficking trial in New York.

During the first week of the trial, a witness under the pseudonym ‘Jane’ told the court of her experience with Epstein and Maxwell and the abuse she suffered in the ‘massage room’ when she was aged between 14 and 16.

She said: “It looked like it was maybe supposed to be a giant walk-in closet. And it was very dark.

“I don’t think I saw anything past the massage table.”

She also alleged that Epstein had used sex toys on her during these ‘massages’.

Maxwell is accused of recruiting and grooming underage girls for Epstein to abuse from 1994 to 1997. Prosecutors argue that she and Epstein were “partners in crime.”

On Friday, a green massage table taken during the 2005 raid of Epstein’s mansion was brought into the courtroom.

Former Palm Beach Police officer Gregory Parkinson, who was one of the officers who went to the property that day, examined the table and confirmed it was the same one taken from Epstein’s home, the New York Post reports.

He told the court: “It’s from the second floor south bathroom, where the shower was.”

Palm Beach officer Sergeant Michael Dawson then took the stand and explained that on the day of the raid on Epstein’s mansion in 2005, they had been “looking for massage tables”, “massage oils”, and “sex toys.”

Maxwell has pleaded not guilty to all charges and faces up to 80 years in prison if convicted. Her defence team argue that she has been made a ‘scapegoat’ because prosecutors are unable to sentence Epstein for his crimes after his suicide in 2019.

Lawyer Bobbi Sternheim said: “The charges against Ghislaine Maxwell are for things that Jeffrey Epstein did, but she is not Jeffrey Epstein.”
