Here are some of the victims of the Orlando nightclub massacre

Florida police have begun to release the names of some of the victims of the mass shooting in the LGBT nightclub Pulse in Orlando.

They will release the names and ages of other victims, once their next of kin has been contacted about their death.

So far, they have released the names of 21 victims.

They include:

• Edward Sotomayor Jr., 34 years old

• Alejandro Barrios Martinez, 21 years old
• Anthony Luis Laureanodisla, 25 years old
• Jean Carlos Mendez Perez, 35 years old
• Franky Jimmy Dejesus Velazquez, 50 years old

• Martin Benitez Torres, 33 years old

• Gilberto Ramon Silva Menendez, 25 years old

They are periodically releasing the names of the victims here.

J.K Rowling has tweeted about her upset at learning that one of the men, Luis Vielma, had worked at the Harry Potter ride in Florida.
