The Huffington Post have had to apologise after posting a tweet which appeared to link former One Direction star Zayn Malik to ISIS.
The American news site posted a tweet which read: ‘What ISIS wants: to destroy the “gray zone of coexistence”‘ and accompanied it with a picture of the British singer.
After receiving a backlash on the incident, @HuffingtonPost tweeted a screengrab of the original post alongside the message: ‘We apologize for the original image here. Zayn Malik is mentioned in the story, but is obviously not part of ISIS.’

@kaatieeee_x3 @HuffingtonPost it's so disrespectful in so many ways. I'm not even a 1D or Zayn fan but this pisses me off because I'm human
