We can all learn something from these tourists.
Admittedly, spending your days on our rainy little island significantly lessens your chances of every bumping into a large bull elephant, but if you do, remember what happens here.
This encounter takes place in Zimbabwe’s Mana Pools National Park as a group of Irish and American tourists are dining.
Spotting the elephant approaching, they opt to stay extremely still and quiet in a hope that he’ll just lose interest and amble away.
Bad idea.
Within a few seconds, the elephant lunges towards them – clouting the blokes either side of him with his massive tusks.
Fortunately, nobody was seriously injured.
