Who is running the United Kingdom?
Is it the prime minister Boris Johnson? Is it the politicians in parliament? Or is it a man who up until very recently was unknown to the vast majority of the electorate?
A not insignificant number of people believe that Dominic Cummings, and not Boris Johnson, is the person pulling the strings and making the key decisions for this Tory government.
He is widely believed to have been the key supporter of the government’s initial plan to deal with coronavirus: herd immunity, and is someone who many think has a Rasputin-like influence over the prime minister.
But who is he, aside from someone who likes to blog and hate civil servants? Meet Dominic Cummings.
