What area do we picture when we think of power?
London generally comes to mind when people think about where the power is held in the United Kingdom, indeed it is a point of annoyance for many people in the UK.
But where exactly in London is this power held? Westminster? Number 10? Soho? Chelsea?
What about Islington? This tiny borough of north London that has an area smaller than 15 square kilometres, but has been and remains home to some of British politics’ most influential figures.
Tony Blair, Jeremy Corbyn, Boris Johnson and Dominic Cummings – all are linked by Islington. So let’s talk about it.
