Hero or hindrance?
Photos have surfaced on Reddit of a Hemel Hempstead man parking his brand new Porsche behind a police speed camera van to block the view.
According to reports, the man then got out, left his car with the boot open, and casually wandered across the road for a pint in his local boozer, The Crabtree.
The Reddit user who posted the picture captioned it: “Someone just parked in front of a speed camera, lifted his boot so nobody could get caught speeding. Then went to the pub across the road.”
It’s sure to cause controversy, as some have rightly pointed out that while irritating, speed cameras do actually serve the fairly important purpose of making sure people aren’t driving too dangerously.
So who is this eccentric Porsche driver?
It turns out Kristian De Moura Portugal, the car owner, is Hemel Hempstead local who won a Sky Vegas lottery last year and he’s been enjoying his prize winnings ever since.
His now-deleted twitter account only showed one media tweet at the time of the incident – a picture of a bottle of Moet with the hashtag #MillionaireLifestyle.
What a week for Kristian! He won £1.3million on Sky Vegas AND met David Seaman!!! pic.twitter.com/ho7nmuhRm0

So is he a hero looking out for the little guy, or just some smart-arse millionaire who is putting people’s lives in danger?
We’ll let you decide.
