Last week, the death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg shocked America. As one of the first female Supreme Court justices, she was as a leader in the fight for women’s rights in America.
Her judgments allowed women to have mortgages, get equal access to workplace benefits and founded the ACLU’s Women’s fund. She was rightly recognised as a trailblazer and an inspiration to little girls and young women across the world.
After her death at the impressive age of 87 after repeated battles with Cancer, many Americans publicly displayed their intense grief and sadness at the passing of the icon.
In accordance with precedent, her body is currently lying in state at the US Capitol building for her admirer to pay their final respects.

For many this paying of respects lead to solemn laying of a wreath, a quiet prayer or moment of reflection. But to Bryant Johnson, it was a time to bust out some extremely respectful press ups in the shadow of her coffin.
Bryant Johnson, personal trainer to the late RBG, is a court clerk and Army reservist. Ginsburg previously called him “the most important person in her life. In fact, a couple of years ago, he even published a book entitled: “The RBG Workout: How She Stays Strong . . . and You Can Too!”
Commenting on his form, JOE Fitness editor remarked:”They are good press-ups.”
