Ryan Reynolds has paid his respects to the stuntwoman that tragically died while filming a scene for Deadpool 2.
A spokesperson for 20th Century Fox said “We are deeply saddened by the accident that occurred on the set of Deadpool 2 this morning. Our hearts and prayers are with the family, friends and colleagues of our crew member during this difficult time.”
The woman’s motorbike crashed through the glass of a ground-floor studio inside Shaw Tower near Jack Poole Plaza.
Vancouver police confirmed her death via social media.

Police also released a statement which said that an investigation is taking place.
“WorkSafeBC and the BC Corners Service are investigating the death of a female stunt driver who died on the set of Deadpool 2 during a stunt on a motorcycle earlier this morning. VPD officers remain at the scene to assist with the workplace accident investigation.”
Reynolds released his own statement, he said: Today, we tragically lost a member of our crew while filming Deadpool 2. we’re heartbroken, shocked and devastated…but recognise nothing can come close to the grief and inexplicable pain her family and loved ones must feel in this moment. My heart pours out to them – along with each and every person she touched in this world.”
