This weekend’s match against Southampton saw Everton go yet another home game without a win, and the fans weren’t happy.
The 1-1 draw with the Saints wasn’t a bad result on paper, but some fans showed they have clearly had enough of Roberto Martinez’s regime at the club by unfurling “Martinez out” banners.
And one fan was so angry, he entered the pitch – managing to dodge the stewards – in order to remonstrate with the beleagured Toffees boss and his players.
The fan managed to get up close and personal with Leon Osman before he was apprehended by stewards, who then led him away.
On his way out of the ground, he was ushered past Martinez.
While the pitch invader was booed by the crowd, a number of fans held up banners showing their feelings for Martinez.
The unrest among the fans came after Saido Mane scored for Southamtpon, bringing the tie level just eight minutes after Ramiro Funes Mori put Everton ahead.
