When an onlooker shouted “You ain’t no muslim bruv!” during a knife attack at Leytonstone underground station, it was appropriate.
But the same can’t be said of the Prime Minister attempted to piggyback on the soundbite.
It was no surprise to see Twitter take him to task for it…

The cringing wasn’t as widespread as some believed, though.
