US Soldier surprises parents with amazing homecoming on ice at NHL game

It was the ice on the cake for these parents...

If this doesn’t bring a tear to your eye, you’re probably dead inside.

Ice hockey fans Eitan and Ronit Urman were invited to do the ceremonial puck drop in front of the crowd at the home of NHL side Arizona Coyotes.

They were introduced to fans as the parents of US Army Sgt Daniel Urman who was away fighting for his country in Afghanistan.

But there was a big surprise in store for the couple…

The Coyotes had arranged for Daniel to come to the game and he snuck up behind his mum and dad on the ice.

Cue a brilliant reaction…

Real heart-warming stuff.
