Careful now, that car has precious cargo.
Former Brazilian footballer and all-round life-lover Ronaldinho came close to a potential disaster on Monday morning when an old, rusted traffic pole fell and almost came down on top of his car.
The footballing legend was visiting a school in Kerala on the south west coast of India but, upon leaving through a crowded and delighted street, a pole fell just in front of the vehicle escorting the Barca and AC Milan god.
Thankfully, no-one was hurt and the police and onlookers were at hand to clear the wreckage.
Video of the footage shows the car come to an abrupt halt to avoid the pole which crashes with a bang very close to Ronaldinho and co.
“As soon as his car came out from the school, an old rusted traffic light post fell before his vehicle,” CPI-M legislator A. Pradeep Kumar told IANS (quoted in SportsKeeda). “Seeing it, he smiled and the car sped away, negotiating the fallen post.”
Here’s the clip of what was undeniably a hairy moment.
