Reports have emerged that six boys have now been freed from the Tham Luang cave in Thailand
Four boys were rescued on day one of the operation yesterday with the rescue resuming today. Since then, two more boys have been confirmed rescued by the Guardian’s Asia Correspondent Michael Safi.
The fifth boy was reportedly taken from the site in an ambulance, while the sixth boy was treated by medics at the field hospital.
As it stands, seven people (six boys and their football team coach) now remain in the cave.

Declining water levels in the cave have allowed the rescue team to implement the rescue plan earlier than expected. Despite overnight rain, conditions remain safe enough for the rescue team to continue the mission.
The four boys rescued on Sunday are recovering in hospital, and are all eating. There has been no confirmation on the condition of the two boys rescued so far on Monday.
A former military diver by the name of Saman Kunan died on Friday while trying to establish an oxygen line to the chamber where the children are waiting.
The rescue mission is ongoing.
