A young man was stabbed to death in Deptford on Saturday night
A young man was fatally stabbed in south east London on Saturday, causing police in the capital to launch their 101st murder investigation of 2018.
Officers found a man in his 20s in Deptford at 11.45pm on Saturday, Scotland Yard said. He was pronounced dead by paramedics at a south London hospital at 12.40am.

The victim was found at the junction of Creek Road and Deptford Church Street.
No arrests have been made. Homicide and Major Crime Command have been informed. and post-mortem examination will take place in due course.
The killing comes after police said they had opened 100 murder investigations in London this year. Although they insist that that does not mean there have been that many murders in the city, as cases can be reduced to manslaughter or found to be caused by natural causes.
In June another man, aged 23, was stabbed to death in Deptford.
