Does your dog make the cut?

Channel 5 is on the hunt for more naughty dogs to star in the next season of Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly, which is set to return to our screens shortly.

In the popular show, top dog trainer Graeme Hall attempts to train mischievous canines and make them become well-behaved dogs.

After working with countless number of dogs and pet owners, Hall thinks that no dog is actually ‘naughty’, but simply needs to learn what it should and should not do.

‘The Dogfather’ is now back for the new season and ready to train more of the naughtiest pooches in the country.

Avalon Factual, the production company behind the dog-friendly show, told LADbible that Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly is now recruiting naughty dogs for the upcoming series, after the “overwhelming success” of the previous three seasons.

Thousands of people got pets in the past year, with lockdown giving people the opportunity to work from home whilst looking after their new pup. However, dog owners will know how hard a task training a puppy is, no matter how cute your new pooch may be.

It is no wonder the show is so popular amongst dog lovers, who watch Hall’s training technique in absolute awe.

If you want to give your dog the chance to star in the upcoming show, you can contact Avalon Factual on dogs@avalonuk.com.

The programme’s synopsis from Avalon says: “Britain is a nation of dog lovers, but what happens when domestic bliss turns to chaos? Luckily, there’s someone you can call.

“Master dog trainer, Graeme Hall is on a mission to restore harmony across the country. And with over 12 years’ experience, he has built his reputation on finding quick but long-lasting fixes to almost any unwanted dog behaviour, helping to train over 5,000 canines and their owners. His mantra is clear: ‘Any Dog, Any Age, Any Problem.

“The series follows the work of the highly experienced dog behaviour expert, Graeme Hall, AKA ‘The Dogfather’, as he travels across Britain to help out-of-control dogs and their desperate owners – transforming their home life in the process. Graeme meets three tricky dogs in every episode and uses his fool-proof techniques to fix their behaviour in record time.”

The synopsis says that the Channel 5 show was an “instant success”, after reaching a ratings high of 1.7 million.
