Sometimes you read something that you desperately hope is a joke, because it would be terrifying if it was real. This is one of those moments.
Some 30% of Republican voters said in a poll that they would be in favour of bombing Agrabah.
Sure, it’s not the entirety of the United States, not even close, but when you consider that Agrabah is the fictional country in the film Aladdin then you start to despair.
Perhaps we shouldn’t be surprised that there is even more support for blowing up an animated country among supporters of Donald Trump.

Perhaps more worryingly, one in three of 18-45-year-olds polled supported such an action – that demographic includes people who will have been kids when the film was released.
Do they think Aladdin was a documentary? A propaganda film? Perhaps we’ll never know.
