The game has been criticised for being littered with bugs and glitches
Cyberpunk 2077 has been pulled from the PlayStation Store by Sony, and refunds are now being offered.
The long-awaited RPG has faced a large backlash online after the released version was found to be full of bugs, and there has also been disappointment with how the game looks on last-gen consoles.
“SIE (Sony Interactive Entertainment) strives to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, therefore we will begin to offer a full refund for all gamers who have purchased Cyberpunk 2077 via PlayStation Store,” the company said in a tweet.

In a statement released on Monday, Cyberpunk 2077 publisher CD Projeckt Red apologised for not showing PlayStation 4 and Xbox One gameplay, promised to fix bugs and crashes, and offered refunds to those who bought the game.

“We would like to start by apologising to you for not showing the game on base last-gen consoles before it premiered and, in consequence, not allowing you to make a more informed decision about your purchase,” CD Projeckt Red said. “We should have paid more attention to making it play better on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.”
The publishers say that two patches for the game will be released in January and February.
“Together these should fix the most prominent problems gamers are facing on last-gen consoles,” the statement continued. “They won’t make the game on last-gen look like it’s running on a high-spec PC or next-gen console, but it will be closer to that experience than it is now.”
Many gamers have been sharing bugs and crashes they’ve come across in the game.
The comparisons between the PC and console versions of Cyberpunk 2077 have also been met with scorn.
