A fitting gesture to the late Adam West.
Adam West sadly passed away last weekend, prompting a flood of tributes to arguably the best Batman of them all.
Six days following his passing, the people of Los Angeles paid a lovely tribute to the late actor by projecting the famous Batman signal onto Los Angeles City Hall on Thursday night.
Thousands turned up to witness the tribute as Mayor Eric Garcetti and Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck turned on the bat signal, which lit up the night sky in downtown LA.

It really was a lovely tribute and the crowds that turned out to witness it showed the popularity of a man who also made notable cameos in Family Guy and The Simpsons amongst other things, but will always be remembered for his role as the caped crusader.
