It was felt around the west of England and Wales.
An earthquake has hit the west of the United Kingdom, as it was felt all the way from Cornwall to Liverpool and across Wales.
The tremor struck at 2:30pm on Saturday afternoon.
Early indications show it reached 4.7 on the richter scale.
Witnesses in Weston-super-mare have told JOE that it was strong enough to causes houses to shake for three seconds.
