Brown is accused of threatening a woman with a gun at his home in Los Angeles.
Singer Chris Brown became involved in a stand-off with police at his home in LA on Tuesday in relation to claims he threatened a woman with a gun in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
According to the Los Angeles Times, police sources who are not authorised to talk publicly about the case said that officers responded to a woman’s call for help at approximately 3am on Tuesday morning.
The woman in question accused Brown of pointing a gun at her in a rage before she ran outside to call the police.
Officers attempted to enter the house but were told to get a search warrant and in the meantime, the singer posted a series of videos on his Instagram account suggesting that he had nothing to answer for.

Brown served 1,000 hours of community service and spent six years on probation after pleading guilty to attacking Rihanna, his then girlfriend, in 2009 and has had a number of run-ins with the law in recent years.
In June of this year, a lawsuit was filed by Michael Guirguis, AKA Mike G, who accused Brown of attacking him without provocation; Brown is alleged to have punched him four times in the face and neck.
An LAPD official, meanwhile, said that the current stand-off between Brown and the police promised to be a “long and protracted affair”.
