He’s barely three days in office but as new President of the United states, Donald Trump isn’t letting the grass grow under his feet.
No, instead he’s determined to eradicate policies put in place by Barack Obama and reinstate them with legislation he deems necessary.
This started with an anti-abortion executive order, which effectively bans American funding to global organisations that perform or provide advice on abortions.
Today, he is expected to make official a number of orders which will restrict immigration in the United States.
It’s expected that there will be new rules put in place regarding refugees and visas in addition to the construction of a “border wall” between the US and Mexico.
A tweet from his official account seems to support this:
Big day planned on NATIONAL SECURITY tomorrow. Among many other things, we will build the wall!

Speaking to CNN, a White House official confirmed the plans to begin work on the border wall, starting with repair work to existing fencing.
It’s also believed that a further 5,000 people will be recruited to Customs and Border Patrol staff.
Other reports have suggested that the ‘national security’ plans include a temporary ban on most refugees entering America and a suspension of visas for both Syrian citizens and people from Middle Eastern and African countries.
