100 firefighters were called upon to tackle the blaze
Dozens of residents at a luxury block of flats in West Hampstead have been evacuated this morning after their building caught fire.
Fifteen fire engines were at the scene to tackle the blaze on the early hours of Thursday morning. 50 people were woken by the fire and evacuated from the building known as Welbeck Mansions.
The Fire Bridgade told JOE that 60 per cent of the fifth floor was damaged, but there were no fatalities and all persons were accounted for.
The fire was visible for miles around, as many Londoners took to social media to share videos and photos.
