Alexandra Palace will soon be offering Londoners the perfect way to cool down this summer — a giant waterslide.
As part of its Summer Festival, Alexandra Palace will be opening up its 196-acre grounds to a series of summery activities from 11am until 11pm.
The main attraction will be Cancer Research UK’s “SliderRider” — a 150 metre waterslide running down the lawn of Ally Pally.

If for some reason you’re a soulless monster who doesn’t like water slides, you can catch a film at the outdoor cinema or dance your heart out at the silent disco.
There’s also live music on two separate stages as well as some craft beer and street food in case you get peckish.
Entry to the festival is free, although some events have a charge and require you to book ahead.
