Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has spoken about Monday night’s attack on the Manchester Arena.
United are currently in Stockholm ahead of their Europa League final with Ajax on Wednesday and had cancelled a press conference scheduled for the eve of the match in response to the news.
Following this, some quotes from Mourinho have been released via a string of tweets from the club’s official Twitter account.
The United manager expressed the sense of sadness amongst the United squad to the news, adding that despite only being based in Manchester for a short time, he had seen enough of the city’s people to know that they will unite in response to the tragic events.
Jose Mourinho: "We're all very sad about the tragic events last night; we can't take out of our minds & hearts the victims & their families.

"We have a job to do & will fly to Sweden to do that job. It's a pity we cannot fly with the happiness we always have before a big game.
