Interesting…

Norwegian Air have introduced their first slimline seats for transatlantic flights.

The aircraft serviced Norwegian’s transatlantic routes to New York and Boston, from the UK and Ireland and as part of the airline’s new fleet modernisation plan, the 737 MAX will replace older Boeing 737-800s on short-haul routes.

The new seats are made of leather, and are all 1kg less than the older model, reducing the weight of the aircraft by more than 200kg overall.

Take a look a them here:

Looks pretty slick if you ask us.

Norwegian Air is also one of the first airlines to introduce free WiFi on flights from Irish airports to over 30 European destinations.

Comfy seats and free WiFi? Sounds good to us.

Thomas Ramdahl, Chief Commercial Officer at Norwegian Air said: “More than 370,000 customers have flown Norwegian between the UK & Ireland and the US East Coast, and now thousands more passengers can fly in slimmer seats that provide more space for the longer flights.”
