Is the water you’re swimming in as clean as you think?
When the weather is warm, people take to the water in an attempt to escape the heat they spend every other day of their praying for. Also, water is refreshing and clean.
But maybe it’s not as clean as we think. Hundreds of people flocked to rivers and beaches for parties in London during the hot weather of recent weeks.
This might be more dangerous than we might believe though, according to two experts we spoke to. More than 1.5 million hours of untreated sewage was discharged into English waters in one year alone.
