‘Joe Biden’s voice is now the voice of desperation and despair’
Donald Trump did not hold back when he spoke on Joe Biden on Friday, branding him the ‘voice of desperation and despair’ in response to his speech on January 6.
On the January 6 insurrection anniversary, Biden addressed the nation in what many called a powerful speech. But Biden’s words did not sit well with the former President, who dubbed him an “insecure dictator”.
“What we witnessed yesterday was the last gasps of a corrupt and discredited left-wing political and media establishment that has, for decades, driven our country into the ground – shipping away our jobs, surrendering our strength, sacrificing our sovereignty, attacking our history and values, and trying to turn America into a country that our people can barely recognize,” he said in an emailed statement.

Biden’s speech seemed specifically designed to ruffle the former President’s feathers- and honestly, it totally worked.
“Joe Biden’s voice is now the voice of desperation and despair,” Trump said.
“His handlers gave him that speech to read yesterday because they know the unprecedented failures of his presidency and the left-wing extremism of the Pelosi-Schumer Congress have destroyed the Democrat Party.
“Part of their panic is motivated by the realization that, just like the Russia collusion hoax, they cannot sustain the preposterous fabrications about January 6 much longer. The truth is coming out.”
Donald Trump has unearthed the true nature of today’s Republican Party; a party of anti-democratic White Nationalists. If we don’t pass Voting Rights and overwhelm them at the ballot box this year, our 245 years of Self Rule will give way to Facism. That’s not hyperbole.

While formal proceedings over January 6 are still underway, Trump wagged his finger at House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other Democrats who were allegedly to blame for the Capitol attack.
“The people see right through that sham,” he said.
“They see a cynical politician who ran for office promising unity who is now doing the most divisive thing possible—slandering his political opponents as domestic terrorists, just like insecure dictators do in communist countries.
“The American People also see that January 6 has become the Democrats’ excuse and pretext for the most chilling assault on the civil liberties of American citizens in generations.”
Media friends: It’s not Biden vs Trump. It’s trump vs America. Trump is a traitor not a politician. Treating him like a politician and not an anti-American zealot who refuses to accept legitimate election results and/or adhere to political norms or laws helps normalize a traitor.

In another speech from Thursday, Trump called Biden’s speech “political theater”.
He added: “The Democrats want to own this day of January 6 so they can stoke fears and divide America.
“I say, let them have it because America sees through theirs [sic] lies and polarizations.
“They spread a ‘web of lies’ about me and Russia for 4 years to try to overturn the 2016 election, and now they lie about how they interfered in the 2020 Election, too.”
